Join Kelly Hora, M.Ac., of Bluestem Acupuncture and Katy Wallace, ND, of Human Nature in a discussion of foods and techniques that support the heart and small intestine. A part of a series of lectures that explore how to align yourself with the energy of each season to experience optimal health, the heart an small intestine organs are most related to summer. In Chinese medicine, we find that the energy in nature is expressed in our bodies and that we are most well when we resonate with that energy. This program will also explore the emotional and spiritual manifestations of summer, such as mindful presence, comfortable boundaries and authentic relationships in life. Free.
Transforming Stress, Kelly Hora M.Ac. Acupuncturist
Contact us to schedule this free workshop to learn how to respond better to stress. You can find freedom in even the most stressful situations. Suitable for workplace or community settings.
Learn how to transform stress and create a personal plan to respond to stress in a positive way. We will also explore Acupuncture and Chinese medicine’s holistic approach to stress, as well as lifestyle choices you can make to support yourself. We will begin with an overview of the physiology of stress, then complete a self-reflection worksheet to generate new tools and approaches to stress and how we respond.
